As I have got an opportunity to share some words with u all. On the topic self confidence is the way of success n how a person can improve his confidence in his daily life which will helps him on his way to success. Self confidence: - self confidence is the difference between feeling unstoppable and feeling scared. The way of understanding yourself has an enormous impact on how others understand you. Understanding your self is reality. The more self confidence you have, the more likely u will succeed.
When u focus too much on what u want the mind create a reasons why u can't have it. So u should build up confidence to do it. This will give us experience of what you have done n also help us to correct your mistakes which will improve self confidence.
A person should not be afraid to socialize himself n should get involve your meeting new people and places. This will produce knowledgen nature of handling things in life.
A person should dress sharp n should punctual. This will decrease your upcoming mistake. If he will be late it may lose information. Dressing is important because it will present one's personality n people will recognize you n will be respected.
Thus, self confidence is important as it improves life n step to failure is to be afraid.
Thanking you,Yours faithfully, Abdul Majid EN08C1132

Topic: Importance of English in day to day life

Introduction

English is a global language, which is used all over the world. In this generation it is a must to speak in this language.

Importance of English in day to day life:
By speaking this language, we have many benefits like our personality develops,
We can increase our confidence level, and increase our standards and future becomes brighter. Now days so many students our unable to speak English fluently.
We can improve our English language by speaking with others, reading newspaper and taking part in debates etc.
In this generation so many people can not understand some language like Telugu, Hindi, and Tamil etc. They can understand very well these languages. In this generation, a person depends on his language, because many companies depend on the students, who can speak well. Because nowadays MNC companies are not giving importance to marks, but they depend on the communication and body language.
Lastly I would like to say nowadays every student must have a habit to speak English.
So English is a popular language in this generation.
Thank you sir

The following is a seminar presented by my student of the basic english course. Her name is Mrs. Naga Mani. Please red and give your comments.

Viswakavi Ravbindranath was born on 9, 1861 in Bengal. His father Maharishi Devendranath Tagore was a rich man and an aristrocrat and his mother was Sarada Devi. He was the eighth son and fourteenth child of his parents. Rabindranath Tagore was not sent to any school. He was educated at home by a tutor. Rabindranath was not happy, getting educated within the four walls. He was a curious and creative child. Even as a boy he felt that nature is a mystery.

Though he was educated at home, he studied many subjects and there was a method in his studies. He would get up early. After physical education he would study Mathematics, History, Geography, Bengali and Sanskrit. In the afternoon, he learnt drawing, English and play games. On Sundays he would learn music and conduct experments in Science. Reading plays was of special to him. He was happy to read play of Kalidas and Shakespeare. He had special interest in Bengali, which was his mother - tongue.

For further studies, he was sent to a public school at London, where he became a student of Prof. Henry Morley whose lectures influenced Rabindranath to take interest in English literature. He developed interest in English culture, traditions and literature. While studying in England, he wrote a poem "Broken Heart". After 18 months in England, he returned to India without taking any degree.

Rabindranath started writing poetry in Bengali. His poem "sandya Geet" was appreciated by many, including Sri Bankimchandra Chatterji, who wrote the National song "Vandemataram". He later wrote in Bengali a number of devotional songs.

"Gitanjali" is a well-know collection of his poems. Gitanjali contains his various noble thoughts common to the vast humanity, love, satisfaction, dignity of labour etc. For this book "Gitanjali" Rabindranath Tagore was awarded the Noble Prize for literature in 1913. Rabindranath was the first Indian to get a noble prize and the British Government conferred on him knighthood and gave the title "Sir".

He had great interest in village reconstruction, Indian culture, music and dance. He was himself a good singer ande he composed a new dorm of music called "Rabindra Sangeet". He had special interest in Kathak and Bali dance. He wrote a number of poems. Some of them are Valmiki Pratibha, Post Office, Nature's Revenge, Saradotsav and Gora etc. Gora deals with the theme of friendship between persons belonging to two different religijons.

Rabindranath started a school at Bholpur, a village 112 km. north of Calcutta. This school developed into Shantinikethan. Students come to shantinikethan from many countries. It specialises in arts, crafts, music and dance besides rural reconstruction.

He established Viswabharathi University near Santhiniketan in 1921. It is now a university of the Central Government.

What makes Rabindranath Tagore special for Indians is "Jana gana mana" and it is our National Anthem. Mahatma Gandhi and Jawahaerlal Nehru had the Greatest respect for Rabindanath Tagore. Though Tagore did not participate in politics headlong , he was a great nationalist. Many of his writings express his nationalistic spirit. For this, he got into trouble with British rulers. He was a great philosopher and a teacher. He was called "Gurudev" by all. He breathed his last on August 7, 1941, he leaving his thoughts and ideas for all to follow.

THANK YOU SIR.

German Language Learning in India

As a Lecturer of GERMAN, working for the past 16 years, I put forward this information.

Nowadays, many students are seeking admission to German Universities. There is also an increasing demand for computer professionals in Germany and many Indians are taking advantage of this opportunity. Moreover, there is an increase in trade with Germany. However, many Germans do not know enough English to be able to communicate effectively, thus making it important for a non-German to learn German. The Germans are known for punctuality and discipline. They are quite hospitable and friendly.

The German language has its roots in Sanskrit and we find many aspects of German language in our Indian languages. German is a phonetic language. It is written the way it is pronounced and is pronounced the way it is written. Silent letters are very much restricted to a smaller number. German has well-framed rules of grammar. With the exception of a few special characters, German language uses the Roman script as does English. This makes it easy for Indian students to learn German, provided they put in hard work.

So what are you waiting for? Come on – start learning GERMAN. The best institute which I can suggest is Vivekananda Institute of Languages, Ramakrishna Math, Domalguda, Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, INDIA. There are reasons for this. The courses here are for three months each. For further details, visit the website – www.rkmath.org

The above information is purely personal and not meant to disrespect or dishonour any individual or institute.
